For @kaseyyanna, that looks like bouldering on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. Coffee shop and library dates on Sundays. Ice skating on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And baking and decorating cookies while watching Christmas Cookie Challenge every other night.
Plot twist: This isn’t Kasey’s weekly schedule, it’s her toddler’s! 🧒🏻
Right before giving birth to her son in 2018, Kasey and her husband, Jason, made a choice. He’d be the full-time parent and she’d bring in the income.
She didn’t initially plan, however, to quit her office job, sell their house and buy an RV to travel full-time.
But right after her son’s first birthday that’s just what they did. And she’s been running her own content creation business ever since.
Partnering with clients like FM Civic empowers Kasey to live the life she dreamed of when she was going through postpartum depression. One where she has the autonomy and flexibility to both support her family financially AND be with them for all of the big (and many of the small) moments.
At work, Kasey helps innovative leaders broaden and deepen their #communityimpact across multiple sectors. She creates strategic communications plans and complimentary multimedia assets that increase access to higher education and living-wage jobs, advocate for affordable housing policies, inspire #civicengagement, and promote inclusive communities.
And it’s her birthday today! Happy birthday, Kasey!
